I am an assistant Pastor at a small church. I am down to speak this Sunday 17th March. I have been praying about what to speak about for a few weeks now. I am totally fascinated by the things of God such as the sky, the sea the trees and all natural beauties. It's funny because I felt a few weeks ago as though God was asking me to speak about the Rainbow and I had sort of started something and had gone through lots of scriptures and stuff off the internet. I then found this piece yesterday and I have read it and it has really spoken to me. I totally love it and feel totally blessed by it. Thank you for sharing it

Thank you for your lesson on rainbows. It was very Scriptually sound, back up by Biblical references, and highly enlightening.
I loved the truth behind the colors of the rainbow. It makes perfect sense in the progression of man's life from the beginning stages until the end when we reach Heaven as our final Royal destiny.
I knew it was a bow, but I learned about it being God's weapon less bow of mercy & forgiveness. I never thought about it quite that way before...interesting.
I really never thought of it as being upside-down. I just thought it was shaped like that to sprawl across the sky extremely high & wide to stretch over people to protect them from harm (as our umbrellas protect us from the rainstorm.
To me, it was like God expanding His Arms over us, reaching out to reveal His loving promise.
But I loved learning these new ideas!
