Deborah stated that because he would not go out without her (implying a failure or lack of faith in God but an unnecessary dependency on ‘man’…or in this case -a woman, Deborah herself)- that he would not receive the full accolade due him because of such a failure.
There is a parallel here and it is associated with the name Barak and Judah. Organisations which claim to follow God but which put their focus or stock in the organisation itself (instead of wholly on God- putting Him front and centre) will lose special recognition from God at Judgement.
