In reply to kenneth lawrence barham. My simple question is that from Genesis to Revelation is there any chapter that mentioned women Bishop but with what I was reading I didn't get any answer and I have not seen where the Bible mentioned a woman Bishop and if Anglican church are ordained a woman as a Bishop it's a dogmatic it's not written in the Bible that's their own doctrine. I was born in Anglican before I changed to Pentecostal I had never seen a woman Bishop.

Hello James, I would like to give my input, and by no means am I a Bible genius, but I try my best to stick to the King James Version of “the Bible,” so to address some of your questions let me give my understanding…First of all you came across very well with your questions… Regarding “why we refer to the Father as God, read Matthew 23:9, First John 3:1, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Mark 14:36, Matt. 6:9, just to name a few. There are many gods, but only one God…

Yeshua is the Hebrew name, and its English spelling is “Joshua.” Iesous is the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew name, and its English spelling is “Jesus.” Thus, the names “Joshua” and “Jesus” are essentially the same; both are English pronunciations of the Hebrew and Greek names for our Lord. (For examples of how the two names are interchangeable, see Acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8 in the KJV. In both cases, the word Jesus refers to the Old Testament character Joshua.)

As Christians, if we concentrated on paganism, we would do nothing because paganism existed predates Christianity by hundreds of thousands of years. It is not the day we worship, it is about our genuine worship, even if it is on a Sunday.

I would like to know why we refer to the Father as God which is a title which over history there are many Gods and why we cannot refer to him as YHWH (Yahuah) or Yahwe rather than just a title because if we go to the commandments we are calling on God on a pagan day which is Sunday so I feel we are praying to Zues ? Same goes for Jesus or Lord why are we not saying our Lord Yashua rather than a title of Lord because Jesus is a man made name and could be taken as Jezues which maybe a pagan name ? I hope I have put this across correctly !

Priests in the Old Testament were descended from Levi and were all men. Priests in the New Testament are all Christians and Christ Himself. No women priests in old or new testament and no Presbyters in the new testament. If the Church is to follow Christ and the Bible how can women be priests or bishops?

I’m also a bit confused about the Elohim part too.
Besides, the church conforming to the pressures from outside to have a female Bishop is not an encouraging one to me. Only if the Activist, the Unitist and the Liberals can see that restricting the title – Bishop – just to men is not about degrading the female ability, but a divine arrangement of headship in the church, there won’t be an issue such as this.

You need clarity for the unwed women as well. After all she cannot be subject to her own husband because she does not have one. She may not be young either just because she is unwed.

Also if a woman can be a deaon and judge (Deborah) it calls into question that a their were female Bishops, it just wasn’t mentioned.

If a woman is to be silent in the church what of the Prophetesses who spoke in the church according to the bible. The letters where written to specific churches not all.

Very helpful thorough study, only two lines I’ve deleted prior to passing it on to Anglican friends.
Your comments on Angels…….these have been previously noted as confusing thoughts however considered false and putting into question an otherwise excellent resume of what the scripture says.
Where do you get the idea that an angel can breath into anything the breath of life, is that not what you’re saying?

Otherwise a much needed concise paper covering a range of important Biblical truths in an age where Christians have lost the desire to walk in obedience to God’s Holy Word.

The Angelical Church of England has aggreed for their knowledge of the welfare and contemporary views that the Bible should be disregarded in its most clear and powerful assignment of church leadership. In doing this however, this church has overpowered God’s wisdom and broken his command virtually causing seperation from God in allowing women to become Bishops and Priests. This will cause death to all who associate themselves with this way of thinking.
