Baptism is required in Christianity. It was never required under the Old Testament. The thief on the cross, Adam, Moses, David, etc. etc. etc. all died without being baptized. But they all died before the establishment of the church.

This verse that you quote is Mark 16:16. It is part of the chapter that is considered to be added later… not part of the original manuscript. I’m not saying you’re right or wrong. Just wanted to point that out for consideration… especially if that is the only verse where Jesus seems to say that baptism is required for salvation.
