The rest of the shoe is black suede with a grosgrain banding in between the insole and sole of the shoe. These are stamped with an Adrian Original on the right insole. They have heel and toe plate metal protectors added to the soles. I have wondered if these had anything to do with the designer Adrian Adolph Goldberg who was a famous designer and costume designer at MGM. He designed the ruby
